The first mention of Ancient Magic begins at the early trailer release of Hogwarts Legacy.
Players can experience the same well-loved Locations such as Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest with a whole new timeline and perspective. Players will experience the life of a new student at Hogwarts during this time as a fifth year ready to attend classes and improve magical knowledge, as well as meeting professors and new friends. Hogwarts Legacy takes place in the 1800s, a time before the setting of the books and movies. Hogwarts Legacy features the familiar elements of the Wizarding World seen in the books and films, but creates a new story that does not focus on any of the previously introduced characters of the franchise.
